Lien Policy

Per our policy you have 5 days from the date the repairs are finished to pay and collect your vehicle. After 5 days you will accrue a storage fee of $20.00 per day. After 30 days it is considered abandonment in which we have the right to place a lien on your vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Lien

Mechanics Lien is a legal action that allows a mechanic to seize ownership of a vehicle that they repaired, but has not been paid for. The mechanic then auctions off the vehicle to help recoup the expense of fixing the vehicle in the first place. If the owner of the car has not paid within 30 days of repairs being finished, and the repairs were at the request of the owner, the Tennessee Department of Revenue allows you to file a garage keeper’s lien.
